Want to train on a bigger screen? You can cast OSX workouts from your phone or tablet to your TV. OSX supports AirPlay, and Android devices can show a Cast option for compatible TVs.
Cast a workout
Connect your phone and your TV to the same wifi network.
Open OSX and start the workout.
Tap the Cast or AirPlay icon at the top of the workout screen.
On iPhone, choose AirPlay. On Android, choose Cast.
Pick your TV from the list. The workout plays on the big screen.
It's not working? Go through these in order
Make sure your phone and your TV are on the same wifi.
Force close the app and reopen it. On iPhone swipe up and flick the app away, on Android tap the recent apps button and swipe it off.
Update the app. Search OSX in the App Store or Play Store and tap Update. Or delete and reinstall it, you won't lose anything, your account keeps it all.
Check that your TV and your phone are both on the latest software.
Still stuck? Open the chat and send your TV model and a screen recording (or film your phone with another phone). We'll take it to the tech team.
Samsung TVs: if AirPlay to a Samsung TV fails, Google TV or Chromecast casting works.
Fire TV
Android phones can show a Cast option for Fire TV. From an iPhone or iPad, direct casting to Fire TV isn't supported: use a TV or device with AirPlay, or Google TV or Chromecast, instead. Third party mirroring apps aren't something we support or troubleshoot.
No Cast or AirPlay icon?
Your device or TV may not support that method. Other options:
