You can connect your Samsung Galaxy Watch to OSX through Health Connect if you're using an Android phone.
Connect through Health Connect
Make sure Samsung Health is set up and syncing with your Galaxy Watch.
Open Health Connect on your phone.
Go to App permissions.
Select Samsung Health.
Allow the health data you want to share.
Then:
Open the OSX app and tap your profile picture (top right on Home).
Select Connected Apps.
Tap Health Connect and follow the prompts.
Your Samsung Galaxy Watch steps then sync into OSX through Health Connect.
Using an iPhone
Samsung Health does not sync with Apple Health, so there is no reliable way to connect a Samsung Galaxy Watch to OSX on iPhone.
To track steps with OSX on iPhone, use a wearable that supports Apple Health, such as Apple Watch or Fitbit with Power Sync.
Still not working?
Make sure your watch is syncing with Samsung Health
Check Samsung Health permissions in Health Connect
Make sure OSX is connected to Health Connect
Restart your phone and try again
