My watch shows fewer calories than the app

The app shows an estimate, your watch measures your body. They'll almost never match, and that's normal.

You're not doing anything wrong.

The number in the app is an estimate for that workout, an average. Your watch is measuring your body: your heart rate, your size, your fitness level. They'll almost never match, and that's normal.

Pick one and stick with it. Use your watch as your consistent measure and compare yourself against yourself, week to week. That trend is the only number that matters.

The workout did its job either way.
