Short answer: the meal plans are built at 2,000 calories a day as the base. Your personal target is different, and you match the two with serving sizes.
Where the numbers come from
Your personal calorie and macro target sits at the top of the Nutrition tab. It's calculated from your profile and your goal.
The meal plans are built around complete recipes at a 2,000 calorie base. Each recipe has its own balance of protein, fat and carbs, so the plan's numbers won't be a perfect copy of your target.
How to match them
When you log a meal, you choose the serving size: 1, 1.5, 2, whatever brings you to your numbers.
Target above 2,000: take bigger servings.
Target below 2,000: take smaller servings.
The meals stay the same. The portions do the work.
Do you need to hit your macros exactly?
No. Follow the meals and portions in your plan, stay generally aligned with your calorie target, and get your protein in. Fat and carbs will vary from meal to meal, and that's normal.
